His journey to become an oral surgeon began at West Texas A&M University in Canyon, Texas, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Dr. Bonner’s dedication to learning and service was evident even earlier, as a graduate of Dumas High School in Dumas, Texas.
Dr. Bonner attended the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio Dental School, where he earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree, graduating Magna Cum Laude and receiving a Distinction in Dental Education for his exceptional commitment to both academic excellence and teaching.
Dr. Bonner previously served as a Staff Surgeon at Baylor Scott and White Medical Center in Temple, Texas, and completed rigorous specialty training through the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program at the University of the Pacific/Alameda Health System-Highland Hospital, further refining his surgical skills and clinical judgment.
